The preliminary date for the ICT 2010 is the last weekend of May: (28,) 29 and 30 May 2010. Currently we are discussing the format of the tournament and we are thinking of a two-day event. The programmers will get an inquiry mail with questions about the format of the CSVN tournaments in the future.
Next year we will have the 30th Open Dutch Computer Chess Championships. All members are requested to think about how to use this fact in favour for the CSVN. |

Kort geleden is het boek Chess Metaphores van Diego Rasskin-Gutman uitgekomen waarin computerschaak de nodige aandacht krijgt. Het boek ligt ondertussen thuis maar heb alleen nog maar gebladerd. En zag niet veel nieuws op technisch vlak. In de tussentijd heeft Gary Kasparov het boek gelezen en een recensie geschreven. Hierbij haalt hij zijn herinneringen aan Deep Blue op. Erg interessant artikel, weliswaar in het Engels. Het kan gevonden worden op de site van The New York Review of Books. |
